Responding to an invitation from Nona Chiariello and Tad Fukami of Jasper Ridge, here is a record of the first flowering in a group of Sticky Monkeyflower (Mimulius aurantiacus, aka Diplacus aurantiacus). This group is along the little stretch of Deer Path Trail in Mader Valley, Portola Valley Ranch. Along the watercourse that I call "Clio Creek", after a granddaughter.

The first flower appeared on 5/1/2020 -- or perhaps late in the day on 4/30. A day later, it remains the only flower I can see on the whole group of 6-10 plants there.
