Out to see the sunset, I find a frog. Earlier, a Red-shouldered Hawk also visits Portola Valley Ranch just across the street from the Frog Pond.

PVR, with its natural ecosystem and lack of fences, provides a gentle extension to the ecosystem of the Frog Pond.
