Snow last night got me out of the house and up on the Ridge. Yes, there is still some snow in tiny patches, in a sheltered shady spot here and there. But the main event is the bursting forth of spring. Flowers budding, opening. Vernal pond full to the brim. Buckeyes sprouting. Birds about. Even abundant fungus.
