Hawk in Forest

Hawk in Forest

I noticed this hawk as it made a short flight across my field of view. It landed on a branch, and we watched each other for a couple of minutes. The hawk preened, and fluffed its feathers. After I had all the photos I wanted, we got tired of each other. The hawk few off, a short flight back away, staying among the branches. Is this a sharp-shinned hawk (Accipiter striatus) or a Cooper's (A. cooperii)? It seemed pretty large, like a red-tailed. The tail is rounded (??) Cooper's???
