Here are some unprocessed iPhone photos, straight out of my iPhone 6 plus. And I have processed a few to bring out a different aspect as well.
This collection begins the day before, and ends the day after the eclipse. The bulk of it focuses on the adventure of 8/21. My cameras cannot do justice to the colors or the experience of totality.
Helen saw the leading edge of the moon's shadow, racing eastward across the hills. I missed that, and saw the diamond ring effect as the moon snuffed out the last of the sun. Then the darkness of totality, surrounded by light on the horizon in all directions. I'm glad I went.
