Hiking from Escobar Gate on Jan 16, 2017: Spring! Flowers bursting out; new super-green leaves; kestrels, kites, and a red-tailed hawk. Spring comes on the heels of fall hereabouts; we actually don't have winter.
I even saw some dirca in bloom. But I was too interested in it all to record that; my apologies. Check out my images from the Los Trancos Trail in Portola Valley for Jan 17, where I make up for my oversight and photograph blossoming dirca and more.
