Observing this oak many times, I never noticed the oak mistletoe (Phoradendron serotinum ssp tometosum) at the highest point. Looking through the scope, a birder verified seeing a male kestrel, with the bluish wings. Since we only saw one kestrel at a time, albeit at several different times, I will call this one a male.
