I photograph this view each visit -- both to start my camera working, and to document the changes over the year. Hayfield tarweed (Hemizonia congesta ssp. luzulifolia) abound this time of year. The valley oaks (Quercus lobata) are covered in leaves. Road F just inside Escobar Gate, 7:27 am.
