Wildflowers in serpentine soil -- and leather oaks. Of course, some insects. 2016 finds springtime bursting out all over, as usual. Here are some macros from two expeditions I made out of Escobar and Goya Gates. The first was with Peche Turner and a group of photographers from Stanford's Computer Science people; the second, a wildflower ID walk led by Ann Lambrecht and Diane Renshaw. I missed some of the IDs: please leave a comment if you know. Other images from today -- people, landscapes -- are in the folder "A Day at a Time". Enjoy!
