Here is an ant nest found under a piece of plywood, with alates (winged ants). Also some spider holes (tarantulas?) and webs.

A neighboring collection shows macros of flowers from the same birding expedition, out of Escobar Gate. Check out "A Day at a Time" for two collections of some birds, and more, seen during the same outing.
