Cliff Swallow (Petrochelidon pyrrhonota) in Flight

Cliff Swallow (Petrochelidon pyrrhonota) in Flight

Many swallows flew around over us, on Road F just west of Trail 9. In the adjacent collection, with more bird images, I label different individuals with different letters. Phil Leighton writes: "The swallow with the dark head must be a Cliff Swallow, for it is the only swallow we see with a clearly darker head and throat defined by a fairly white breast. The Northern Rough-winged Swallow has a whitish throat."
