A lovely spring day, from Escobar Gate. Dew on the wildflowers. Spider webs in the sun, and a spider. Insects on dew-covered flowers. Busy harvester ants (Messor andrei). A swallowtail butterfly. Strong sharp lines showing the difference in soil type, serpentine and not.
