Is this a violet-green swallow (Tachycineta thalassina)? Seen 50 minutes after the swallows in flight, and in a different valley oak -- on the bird transect trail, not far from Trail 15, perhaps 500 meters from the lonely oak across the grassland. The swallows certainly roam this far for food.
