The ant survey day is one day we can go off-trail, searching points 100m apart, spread over much of Jasper Ridge. This collection shows a fly approaching a flower, a spider on the hand, and many flowers and insects -- from the grasslands in the east to the iris garden closer to the western boundary of Jasper Ridge. Other images captured today are in the collection "A Day at a Time".
