Other birds joined in the hunt. Please leave a comment if you know this one. (Yes, I should…) Actually, this looks a little like the lesser goldfinches (Carduelis psaltria) seen on 8/18/2011 (??). But some of these birds seem to have a longer, sharper beak... There was one bird on the left of the tree, and two on the right, maybe different species. I am sorry, I know it is hard to make an ID from a tiny photo...
