Bee Builds her Hole

Bee Builds her Hole

The six previous images and the one following form a sequence, all taken within 3 seconds. This image was taken 1.5 minutes later, but is in better focus than the one from the sequence. The bee was so quick, coming and then disappearing, waiting for 30 seconds to a minute or two, then suddenly coming up again. It was hard to move the focus up slightly from the dirt to the bee, in time. I was guiding some visitors, & did not want to stay *too* long, watching the bee come up and down, pushing a little dirt out of the perfectly round hole each time. I wonder how long she kept it up? She did not appear to be bothered by me and my camera, at all.
