Chase Mendenhall and others set mist nets, captured, measured, and tagged birds at Jasper Ridge. Bio 44Y next year wants to tell which hummingbirds visit each Sticky Monkey plant -- so the mist netters color-code the hummingbirds on the chest, so they can be identified on camera. Other images follow the mist netting, including insects visiting spring flowers. These images were taken on 3/24/2010 and 4/10/2010 -- you can tell which by checking the "Photo Info" on each image. Please help ID the birds, and correct mis-identifications! Just leave a comment at the photo, please.
