The Basin Complex Fire started in June 2008, and hit Tassajara in July. The main Tassajara complex was saved by the heroic action of 5 people who stayed behind and fought the fire: <

Over 2 days, plus the incoming drive, I took a series of photographs of the recovery of the ecosystem after the fire. Here is the record.
