Scott Peden was a docent at Big Basin Redwoods State Park for decades, and a force of nature. He knew the woods and the life in them. He passed away Dec 5, 2016. We will remember him in the shadows of the redwoods.
Many of these photos date from 2007-08, when I first met him at Little Basin. I heard a mournful sound one evening... there was Scott, serenading the darkness with his bagpipes.
