The Shoreway Environmental Center is a recycling and waste management facility on the San Francisco Peninsula.

The garbage trucks from many Peninsula cities come here, with contents of residents' recycling and trash bins. Here these are re-sorted and separated into different streams for recycling or disposal.
There are two sides: trash and recycling. Some items from each are re-sorted to go over to the other side.
