A lone blue oak (Quercus douglasii) stands on a slope above Deer Path Trail. Windy Hill is visible through its branches. Over the years, I have been drawn to this oak (as have others). Here are some of my images, suitable for framing.
Helen and I can attest that the first one wears well. It is a favorite of ours.
