As I just tried, one can use Photoshop to stitch together several photos to give one image with a wider field of view than my camera provides. This is fun, and allows for more creative freedom.

In the other nearby galleries, I have used this capability to achieve wider-angle views than my Sony DX10 mirrorless camera allows. But at some point, stitching together photos yields something other than a simple wide-angle view: an unrealistic view of more than the eye can take in and call "just one view". The extreme is a 360 degree panorama, with one end of the image returning to the trees at the other end.

Here are some of these images, just for fun. I can stitch together images all in a row say horizontally, or both horizontally and vertically.

You can compare these representations of each location with the more realistic views presented in the nearby galleries.

My iPhone allows an automatic panorama. I include a nice one here. And, caution advised, a failed attempt of the stitching software in Photoshop. Enjoy!
