After the completion of the mural, the community asked Rogelia and Jameson to help them found their middle school. This had been promised when the UN helped move the community to La Trinidad, but it had somehow never happened. Rogelia and Jameson filed the papers and plowed through the red tape. They set up the school. Jameson taught science, and several of his students qualified in the early rounds of the science olympics in Guatemala! After a few years, operation of the school was taken over by the community.
