On February 10, 2007, a group of parent volunteers assembled at 3739 26th St in the Mission District of San Francisco. Their goal: to turn empty rooms and yard into a vibrant space for a new preschool: Centro Las Olas. Then they cooked up a feast and invited the kids to join them.
