SLAC and Jasper Ridge

SLAC and Jasper Ridge

SLAC (originally Stanford Linear Accelerator Center), from the injector end. Electrons and positrons travel away from us, under Hwy 280, and to the experimental halls beyond. Jasper Ridge Biological Preserve borders the SLAC corridor to the right (south). Most of the forests are part of JRBP. The bare ridge is prominent.
