Jasper Ridge and Mount Diablo

Jasper Ridge and Mount Diablo

Chaparral-covered ridges extent to the main ridge, covered in grass, with a few lonely valley oaks. Road F leads along the ridgetop from Escobar Gate, just off the photo to the right, to the blue oak forest, just off the photo to the left. Goya Gate is near the near side of the Preserve on the right. The houses on the right are in Westridge, Portola Valley. Much of Webb Ranch is hidden beyond the ridge. One can see SLAC and Hwy 280 near the left side. Mount Diablo dominates the horizon past San Francisco Bay and the salt flats.
