Isla Espíritu Santo and Isla Partida are connected by an isthmus, walkable at low tide. I hiked across each one. These are dry, rocky islands. There is a breeding colony of magnificent frigate birds on Isla Espíritu Santo. These pirate birds range far and wide over the ocean, but never land on water. They return here to breed. There are interesting birds and lizards, cactus and flowering plants, and ants. As always, please leave a comment if you know any ID -- or indeed, anything interesting at all.
