Recently killed deer. Typical cougar kill. The intestinal cavity has been breached and the heart and liver appear to be gone. This must have been a very recent kill -- the carcass was not buried, nor were any legs or other flesh removed. The carcass was not warm, and we did not notice any cougar lurking nearby.
