Coyote Ridge & Coyote Valley

Coyote Ridge & Coyote Valley

A good spot for a wildlife corridor is near the hills in the distance, leading out into the middle of the valley. Such a corridor is needed to connect the Coast Range with the Mount Hamilton Range, allowing large mammals like the Mountain Lion to have greater genetic diversity and to roam more of their traditional ground. It would cross Highway 101, the railroad tracks, and the settled part of Coyote Valley.
