On Saturday, July 30, 2011, I visited the new Cowell-Purisima Trail south of Half Moon Bay on the coast -- then the new trail to Pillar Point. POST requested photos for their publication, "Landscapes". Here are some of the images I came back with. Perhaps some of them will appear in this quarter's "Landscapes".
In the interest of time, I have not added captions to the images. Please feel free to add your own comments for all of us. I do know that many of the birds are Pelicans... There was a steady stream, groups of Pelicans, large and small groups, headed north.
