The docents from Stanford's Jasper Ridge Biological Preserve took a field trip to Costa Rica, October 14-22, 2010. We began and ended at the La Selva Biological Preserve on the Caribbean side -- the Director, Deedra McLearn, was our gracious host. In the middle we visited the Monteverde cloud forest preserve, in the middle.
These images are roughly chronological. I apologize for the lack of captions -- but you know who you are! (Jenny Stynoski researches the mother -- and father -- frogs' care of their young.) The last two images are a group photo taken with my camera.
