Sophie Christel remarks: "This actually looks like a female (unless you're sure it's the same bird as the other photos, which are definitely of a male/males). Much greyer than the other bluebird photos—though since blue is a tricksy color, created structurally rather than via pigments, it could be the angle or light making him look washed out!" Since I am not at all sure this is the same bird, it is most probably a female!
