Water over the Dam (Color)

Water over the Dam (Color)

Water rushes over Searsville Dam and hurries down to Corte Madera Creek below. Standing on the dam and looking down, I take photo after photo of the "same" scene. Shutter speeds range from 1/6 second, showing the smooth trails the water follows, to 1/4000 second, freezing each drop in place. (Actually, 1/500 second seems to be fast enough for this.) Here is a small selection of the many color views I have. LMK if you want to see more! Face of Searsville Dam, Jasper Ridge Biological Preserve. 2/17/2023, 8:45-50 am.
