Oaks on the Ridge

Two naked Valley Oaks (Quercus lobata); the one on the left has some new leaves, and some mistletoe. And some Coast Live Oaks (Q. agrifolia var. agrifolia). Coyote Brush (Baccharis pilularis) colonizes the grassland. Green Windy Hill holds the horizon behind the left Valley Oak. From Trail 15, 10:34 am.
