Yes, we did see other birds. I even photographed some. The first 24 (!) photos here continue documenting our adventures at and near the "Phainopepla Tree", an old dead Valley Oak on a ridge, haven to many birds, especially this morning. Then there are photos of three other Red-tailed Kites we saw in the sky this morning.

As you can guess by now, this gallery might be of interest only to birders. But while I don't consider myself a true birder, I still find birds, plumage, and flight to be both interesting and beautiful. Enjoy!
