Seen through the Trees
A Great Egret (Ardea alba, with yellow beak and black feet) wades in Searsville "Lake" -- pond? Less than Walden Pond. Puddle?? Ducks, many female mallards, swim about and feed from the bottom. From Trail 21, Jasper Ridge Biological Preserve. 9/4/2021, 9:09 am.
