Coal Mine Ridge is in full bloom now. Warrior's Plume, Fremont's Star Lily, Hound's Tongue, Giant Trillium. More rare: Woodland Shooting Star, and even Larkspur! New leaves on the trees: Buckeye, Madrone (with flowers too), Oak. Toyon berries, bright red.
I walked up Lower and Mid Toyon Trail. (The boundary is at the connector trail to Coalmine Trail; Upper Toyon Trail is beyond Portola Valley Ranch.) I came down via Arroyo Trail, then Old Spanish Trail.
