Top of Grinding Rock

Top of Grinding Rock

My guests later today helped me discover that there are very many depressions used as mortars by the First People here. Not just the three prominent depressions. One is filled with leaves, in the foreground. To the left ate two or three more. It must have been quite a scene, with many people grinding acorns or other harvest here, others bringing them fresh harvest to grind. Trail a, 8:16 am.
