A lovely hike with a POST group, through Sam McDonald Park, finishing up with a long traverse through the redwoods back to the parking lot. Flowers of late spring: Trillium, Tidy Tips, other flowers in the shade: please leave a comment if you know an ID! And of course, insects on the flowers, and a spider waiting for the insects. A Banana Slug. A Red-tailed Hawk greeted us as we started off. Sam McDonald: what a hero!
