Additional snapshots from the event. Other participants; parties; activities surrounding the award week. And some more of Helen and family.

The Franklin Institute really knows how to throw a party. Helen visited a school and a university. The laureates gave a workshop, demonstrating the principles of their discoveries to high school students and others. Receptions. Helen and two of the three other female laureates were in a panel for a lecture series, women in science. A luncheon. A small dinner, each laureate speaking briefly. A video for each laureate, produced for the award ceremony. Did I say reception? Telescope viewing?? And we men got to wear tuxedoes.
