POST supporters enjoyed a nice walk through carpets of spring flowers in the serpentine grasslands, up to a view of Calero Reservoir. A peak wildflower time. (But flad mid-day light...)

This preserve, a critical link in a wildlife corridor, was protected from immanent development by POST, then transferred to Santa Clara County in 2009. It was just opened to the public! It was great to see so many people enjoying this spring walk/bike/horseback ride. Nice views, amazing wildflowers, and rare plants.
