Five (!) acorn woodpeckers (Melanerpes formicivorus) in the "Phainopepla Tree", a valley oak (Quercus lobata) at the top of the ridge south of Road F. Two are in the mistletoe to the right. The three on the left are females; the other two may be, as well. 7:47 am.
