MROSD and Acterra Stewardship kindly hosted a tour of the Hawthorns Property. Here are some images of what we saw. Bees are back at the Hawthorns House!

Acterra Stewardship will soon be known as Grassroots Ecology. They will continue their stewardship work, working with volunteers to restore and maintain open space on the Peninsula and beyond: for the Mid-Peninsula Regional Open Space District (MROSD), and cities, towns, and other agencies with land to maintain. Acterra itself will focus on encouraging and enabling citizen action in the areas of climate change, energy conservation, transportation, water use, and more. They will also continue their popular lecture series (adding a fall season) and the Business Environmental Awards.
