This is a companion folder to "5/3/2014 Spring Ant Survey". That one showed the ant surveyors at work; this shows the landscapes and other points of interest, seen during the survey. A third folder is in "Adventures at a Smaller Scale", with the same date: macros of flowers and insects (and spider).
The images taken in the morning are mostly from off trail, south of Road F toward the south boundary of Jasper Ridge Biological Preserve. There is a woodrat nest, and even a hermit's exploration shaft.
