The Jasper Ridge Ant Survey has been held twice a year since spring 1993. The spring 2014 survey was undertaken by at least 26 volunteers on a nice sunny day, perfect for ants. Here are some views of the people and the effort involved. Other images captured today will soon be nearby; macros are in the collection "Adventures on a Smaller Scale".
