Our second day in Mitake, we undertook an easier hike. Up over Mount Hinodeyama (a redundant name: Yama is mountain), then mostly downhill, through the "plum garden", to the town of Hinatawada on the Tamagawa River. Then the train back down the river canyon, the bus, and the cable car again, back to our inn in Mitake. This was a much easier hike than the snowy one the previous day. Many blossoms, both in the forest and in the Hinatawada gardens. Birds and a bee from this hike are in a separate folder.
