Cooper's Hawk (Accipiter cooperii) in Flight

Cooper's Hawk (Accipiter cooperii) in Flight

From the image above the skyline, Sophie Christel says: "I believe this is a Cooper's Hawk, not a Peregrine—notice the red eye (with no dark hood or 'moustache') and the orangey underside. Also, the shape of the wings is far less pointed than what you'd see on a Peregrine." Boyce Burge: "That's definitely a Coopers hawk. Peregrines have a very dark/black eye, plus the sideburns."
