Artificial Oak

Artificial Oak

Tess Morgridge's senior thesis involves investigating other impacts that deer and other herbivores may have on the oaks -- in addition to eating them. Do they crush them? Artifical oak seedlings such as this help answer the question. They are made of non-toxic bamboo and wire, and are meant to be unobtrusive, not attractive to browsers.
