The morning began with misty rain. When the mist lifted, the grasslands were filled with spiderwebs, gleaming in the sunlight, covered in drops. Banded Garden Spiders (Argiope trifasciata), aka Banded Argiope, waited in their webs. Webs at ground level held many drops. I found another hanging, two-level web with a patient spider, waiting to add to her cache of entombed insects. (ID, please! Leave a comment.)
