A long day surveying ants at Jasper Ridge. Some of these images were captured early in the day, but many were captured at sundet and in the gathering dusk, in a magical flower garden on a peninsula far from any trails. Some images are included here for context, not because they are good images in themselves. As always, please leave a comment if you know the ID of a plant or insect, or have anything to add.
